Our community celebrated the completion of the Capitol Drive and Oak Leaf Trail Bridge Reconstruction on August 15, 2011. We are proud of our beautiful new east-west corridor and thank our residents, guests and business owners for their patience throughout the project.

8th Annual Shorewood Criterium Cycling Classic • June 2011
High–energy cycling races returned to Shorewood this summer, with our village as the very first “stage city” for the Pro–Am Cycling Series known as the Tour of America’s Dairyland (ToAD).
Men’s Club BBQ • June 2011
An annual tradition that welcomes the summer season to the community, the Shorewood Men’s Club Chicken BBQ is a favorite with our residents. A picnic at Atwater Park along Lake Michigan includes traditional BBQ fare, ice cream sundaes and ongoing music from local bands. It’s a perfect summer day!
